Coming Soon
Due to covid 19 we understand our members may not want to travel out for our members' meeting that is held every last Tuesday of the month. Making sure everyone is safe during this pandemic, We are currently testing ways to make the meeting virtual. More details to come once we have established and tested ways to make it available for our members to attend a virtual EOM members meeting.
Draft for Medicare for All resolution for the City of Orlando
Fellow Members, what follows is a proposal to affix a recommendation from our Local to an initiative to submit this ‘Draft for Medicare for All resolution for the City of Orlando’.
The attached documentation explains much of the reasoning behind the request for this resolution in greater detail and posits the suggestion that a Medicare for All type solution would be a viable alternative to the labyrinth of private healthcare options now prevalent in our system.
Please read the attached information and decide if you would be comfortable putting the CWA Local 3108 stamp of approval on a recommendation to send this proposal to the city administration.

We will be discussing this, and many other topics of import, at the monthly membership meeting this upcoming Tuesday, Feb 23. Doors open at 7 PM, meeting starts at 7:30.
We look forward to your input on this matter so if you feel strongly about this subject, either for or against, you should make plans to attend the meeting on Tuesday, March 30, where a vote will be taken to decide whether or not to submit a recommendation for this initiative to the City of Orlando.
As always, please feel free to attend each of our monthly meetings where we provide food and drinks along with the usual fun, fellowship, and exchange of information.
